Hi sorry for this, since StarkNet is still at alpha stage, so the team'll improve the performance gradually. Soon the team will introduce the first version of parallelization to our Sequencer (few weeks) which should improve the TPS, in V0.10.1. And they're are also working on using LambdaClass rust implementation of cairo https://github.com/lambdaclass/cairo-rs to our Sequencer. This will also improve the TPS, but it will take at least 1 month. Thanks for your understanding!

Is there anything wrong with the testnet?

I’m signing a message using 
```
account.signMessage(data) 
```
and immediately verifying the signature with the same data and it’s returning false. I don’t see any issue open on this subject on starknet.js. Is this something you’ve already encountered by any chance?

here’s the code:

```python
const data = { types: proposeTypes, primaryType: 'Propose', domain, message };
const sig = await user.account.signMessage(data);
let res = await user.account.verifyMessage(data, sig); // returns `false`
```

I see that’s the expected way to use signMessage through the tests (https://github.com/0xs34n/starknet.js/blob/b20819424dea824c96ac31e0542733c84d87d441/__tests__/account.test.ts#L125-L126).

So I guess something’s going wrong when it comes to either hashing the data and signing it or hashing the data and verifying the signature?


btw: for those wondering: `verifyMessage` only works if the account is deployed: if you’re doing this with an account not deployed (basically just a keypair) then this won’t work :)

Hi people. I can't seem to be able to update to 0.3.3.

I am using docker, and when and successfully pull with

*docker pull eqlabs/pathfinder*

but then

*docker run \
  --rm \
  -p 9545:9545 \
  --user "$(id -u):$(id -g)" \
  -e RUST_LOG=info \
  -e PATHFINDER_ETHEREUM_API_URL="https://goerli.infura.io/v3/<project-id>" \
  -v $HOME/pathfinder:/usr/share/pathfinder/data \
  eqlabs/pathfinder*

makes the node run with 0.3.0-alpha

Anyone encountering the same issue ?

An issue while updating to 0.3.3 node StarkNet

Is Kakarot a Starkware project? 

I transferred USDC from Starknet to L1 via Starkgate.
In Starknet Explorer, it shows the assets received on L1, but I have no USDC received on L1. It’s been more than 12 hours. What could be the problem?!

How can I interact with my contract on Starknet using starknetjs?

Hey, I’m learning Cairo and I want to know more about Gas Optimization. In Solidity compiler, there is a difference between writing uint128 and uint256. Similarly to C and other languages, for example:

```solidity
contract ThisIsNotAnOptimizedContract{
	uint128 Zero;
	uint256 One;
	uint128 Two;
}

contract ThisIsAGasOptimizedContract{
	uint128 Zero;
	uint128 Two;
	uint256 One;
}

```

`uint128` variables each occupy a separate `uint256`just for themselves, wasting 128 bits for each slot (Like the first contract). The Solidity compiler puts 2 `uint128` in the one 256-bit memory slot when they are declared next to each other. 

I’m curious if there is any similar issue in Cairo. `Uint256` uses two felt objects for low/high bits of the value.

```python
struct Uint256 {
    // The low 128 bits of the value.
    low: felt,
    // The high 128 bits of the value.
    high: felt,
}
```

Is there any similar practice in Cairo to optimize `felt` and Uint256 objects to save some compiler steps?
