why does keccak256 replace sha256 in warp transpiler? I want to know: are they technically identical or different?

Hey, I'm curious if uint256 variables are safe to use? They are using 2x128 bits, while a native felt uses only 252 bits. 

Can anyone explain?

Why does Starkware pedersen Hash Function split numbers in high and low bits

I am currently running this code

    [ap] = 1, ap++;

    [ap] = 2, ap++;

    jmp rel -1;  // Jump to the previous instruction.

And what is happening is that "x" is alternating between 1 and 2 and I couldn't figure out why.

Also, it wasn't very clear to me what a "Revoked Reference" means. Is it when you cannot access a certain [ap] when running a specific function?
